La Cage Aux Folles (Birdcage) has existed in several different versions on stage and screen throughout its life. In this gender bending tale, a young French man, Laurent, brings home the new girl of his dreams to meet his conservative family. This new "girl" turns out to be a drag queen named Albin who puts on the performance of her (his) life in attempting to charm Laurent's family.
